We have built up an excellent reputation for restoring, repairing and maintaining classic Mini's & classic cars to an extremely high standard. We carry out mechanical work, paintwork, bodywork, modification work, servicing and accident repairs, all in-house. In recent years we have branched out to embrace other makes of classic vehicles, for example: E-type Jaguar, Morris Minor, Mk1 Cortina, MG etc. So it would not be unusual to see all manner of makes, models and variants in our workshops.

A typical full or part restoration of a classic Mini would involve the following:

The Mini would be stripped of components as required and all parts carefully stored.

All corroded panels of your classic Mini will cut away.

New panels are now welded in, any area of your classic Mini where replacement panels cannot be used are will be repaired by using sheet metal.

We all take pride in the fitting of front panel to wing and wing to scuttle seams.

We only fit British Motor Heritage Panels. (See pictures in our case studies section)

All repair sections of your clasic Mini shell would now be etch primed

All other welded seams are now treated primer and seam sealer.

Any under side repaired areas of your classic MIni would be painted with a etch primer and then treated with stone chip (This is a rubberised coating that looks like orange peal. This helps stones bounce off the body of your classic Mini.
 
The repaired classic Minishell would be then taken to our paintshop to be painted, once painted the bodywork will be then buffed and polished to a high shine.

With the shell complete waxoil & steel guard can now be added for maximum protection against rust.

As for the major components of your Mini, we would normally try to recondition as many as possible but obviously many parts will need replaced as part of the restoration process. Sometimes this component list can be very lengthy.

If required we can rebuild your classic MIni engine and gearbox as well as ancillaries such as the carburettor, distributor etc.

We pride ourselves on attention to detail and originality. There is a vast amount of new parts available but some classic Mini parts are now obsolete and because of this we hold a great deal of New old stock or second hand parts. This will allow us to complete your classic Mini restoration with just the right components you need.

Once your classic Mini is restored, we would then give it a comprehensive road test and an MOT if required.
